PURPOSE: A refrigerator for a refrigerating vehicle is provide to improve the efficiency of an engine and an AC compressor through transferring the driving power of an engine to only one of a compressor and an AC compressor. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator for a refrigerating vehicle comprises an engine(10), a compressor(20), a radiator, an AC compressor, a condenser(50), a cooling fan(60), a cooling fan motor(M1), an expansion valve(70), an evaporator(80), a blowing fan(90), and a blowing fan motor(M2). The engine is installed in a cabinet(C1). The radiator cools the engine. The AC compressor is driven by an external AC power source and compresses coolant with the compressor alternately. The cooling fan compulsorily cools one of the condenser and a radiator. The blowing fan compulsorily blows the cooled air from the evaporator to a freezer.
