The vane wheel has a hub (1) which is rotatably mounted about an axis and having several fan blades (3) arranged radially on the outer edge along with a projecting flow element (12). The fan blades are arranged such that the radial distance from the flow element (12) with respect to another flow element (12') is equal to the appropriate diameter of a fan blade. An independent claim is included for manufacturing method of fan wheel.
