<p>The extruder has housing (1) with a front wall (16) closing 8-shaped interlocked boreholes (2). A screw (3) is arranged in the boreholes and includes a cylindrical support-section (17) outwardly penetrating through an opening (21) in the wall. A sliding bearing (18) is arranged on a bearing-section (17) and is radially supported against the opening. A clamping device (26) engages at the wall, and pushes the sliding bearing against a gland packing (19) in a direction of an axis (22) by radial tensioning of the packing. The screw is flyingly mounted at the front wall by the sliding bearing.</p> |
