The measuring device (10) has an induction heating device provided with a magnetism current inductor (21) that is supplied with power by an alternating current generator (22). The inductor is arranged on a part of an external face of the measuring device. The inductor is arranged around a ferromagnetic element. The inductor and the ferromagnetic element form a heating element. The heating element is arranged inside a transducer (16) and a welt (13). A clamp (11) is formed of teeth (12) and the welt, and made of ferromagnetic material, where each of the teeth carries the transducer. An independent claim is also included for a method for heating an acoustic wave measuring device.
