<p>The method involves generating an initial set of sub-data frames (114,116) indicating process data of field devices (102,104,106,108). Another subsequent set of sub-data frames is received from field devices, for processing data of field devices. The real time transmission of data frames comprising initial and subsequent set of data frames, is performed by dynamic frame packing at a receiver. A time shifted value is calculated so that subsequent sub-data frames are attached directly to initial sub-data frames, after immediately transmitting initial sub-data frames. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) computer program product for transmitting data from field devices; and (2) field devices.</p> |
