A secondary battery is provided to prevent the internal short caused by the rupture of a positive electrode tab and to improve the safety of a battery by forming a slit to the positive electrode tab. A secondary battery comprises a stacked type of a positive electrode(100) / separation film(300) / negative electrode(200) structure or a stack / folding type electrode assembly. In the electrode assembly, the negative electrode is bigger than the positive electrode. A plurality of uncoated area(positive tab) which is not coated with the electrode active material, is combined to one positive lead with being protruded to one side of a positive collector. In the combining portion(130), the width of the positive tab(110) is smaller than the width of the positive lead(120). |
