PURPOSE: A breathable article manufacturing method is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by stacking metal powder and auxiliary powder on a platform to obtain an article shape without a model. CONSTITUTION: A breathable article manufacturing method is as follows. Metal powder or auxiliary powder is supplied through a metal powder supply unit(30) and an auxiliary powder supply unit(40) to obtain a block-shaped model. The model is divided into an auxiliary powder region(A1) and a mixed auxiliary and metal powder region(A2) according to the shape of an article. Heat is delivered to the model so that metal powder is bonded together. The auxiliary powder region and the mixed powder region are separated from each other. Auxiliary powder existing in the mixed powder region is removed.
