<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of a metal member containing little carbon. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method comprises the steps of: press-forming the metal member containing little carbon; and then heat-treating the part which has been distorted in the press-forming step. Thereby obtained press-formed product shows such an improved strength as is 1.4 to 4 times higher than that before the heat treatment, even though using metal members containing little carbon, and among them, a metal member containing carbon of less than 0.10 wt.%, further of less than 0.05 wt.%, and still further of less than 0.035 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
