A method for preparing polyisoprene nanoparticles by the technique of polymerization in microemulsion using surfactants, which includes the following steps: a) preparing a micellar solution with an initiator dissolved in the aqueous phase, which is formed by one or more surfactants, a polymerization initiator and water; b) degasifying the system and leading to a reaction temperature; c) adding the monomer and allowing the polymerization to proceed during a preset time. This method allows latex to be obtained with particles having a diameter of from about 30 nm to about 40 nm and polymer formed by a mixture of microstructures cis-1,4 and trans-1,4.
