PURPOSE: A locking device for elevator buttons is provided to prevent manipulation of an elevator by mental patients as slidingly opening/closing buttons. CONSTITUTION: A locking device for elevator buttons(100) comprises a blocking plate and a case(101). The blocking plate comprises a rectangular plate body and a knob(210). The knob is projected from the surface of the plate body. The blocking plate is accommodated in the case and is moved in a vertical direction parallel with the surface of a button. The case has a first hole(160) and second holes(170,171). A handle is exposed through the first hole forming in a vertical direction. The second holes are formed in a position corresponding to buttons on a button panel. The blocking plate opens or closes the second holes depending on the location of the handle in the first hole. |
