The invention pertains to briquetting technology, in particular to fuel briquettes particle composition and method for obtaining wood chips briquettes, which can be used for both municipal and industrial uses. The aim of invention is to reduce fuel wood chips production costs and simplify their production technology. Wood chip fuel briquettes are composed of wood chips with moisture content above 60% and the sapropel with humidity 85-95%. The ratio of components is 2:1 or 3:1. Manufacturing method of the wood chip fuel briquettes includes particle and sapropel mixture mixing until smooth mass acquisition. The prepared mixture has been filled into brick-making forms, creating separate fuel wood chips briquettes. The mentioned forms are placed onto the drying shelves. Drying takes place in warm air stream within 7 days. Drying may also be performed at room temperature within 30 days.
