PURPOSE: A UV-curable carbodiimide oligomer having high refractivity is provided to ensure excellent thermal stability, chemical stability, and high refractivity and to enable the application to UV-curable optical materials and coating materials. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a UV-curable carbodiimide oligomer comprises the steps of: reacting 1 equivalent of a hydroxy group-containing acrylate with 0.95-1.05 equivalent of a first aromatic bifunctional isocyanate compound to form a compound including an acrylate group and an isocyanate group; and reacting the compound including the acrylate group and the isocyanate group with a second aromatic bifunctional isocyanate compound in the presence of a carbodiimidization catalyst. |
