PURPOSE: A rotary movable weir is provided to prevent river contamination by enabling the selective discharge of water having contaminants. CONSTITUTION: A rotary movable weir comprises a water gate(10), a rotary shaft(20), support brackets(30), movable links(40), cylinder units(50), base plates(60), and a housing unit(70). The water gate blocks river water flowing from an upstream. The rotary shaft is fixed to the frame(11) of the water gate. The support brackets are formed on both sides of the water gate and rotatably support the rotary shaft. The movable links are connected to the rotary shaft and rotate the water gate. The cylinder units rotate the movable links. The base plates support the bottoms of the support brackets. The housing unit receives the support brackets, the movable links, and the cylinder units therein. |
