PURPOSE: A grip for a driver and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to efficiently transfer torque to a core when torque is applied to a grip body. CONSTITUTION: A grip for a driver comprises a rigid core(2) and an elastic grip body(3). The rigid core is fixed to the patterned part of a tool(1). Protruded parts(22,23) are arranged on the core in a longitudinal direction, and the front ends of the protruded parts are exposed to the outside. The grip body is formed in a cylindrical shape and fixed to the outer periphery of the core. The grip body has a grip outer layer(31) and an elastic layer. The elastic layer deforms the grip outer layer.
