FIBER OPTIC BRANCH CONNETING CLOSURE

PURPOSE: A branch connection box for an optical cable is provided to increase the utilization of an existing optical cable by three-dimensionally connecting an optical cable for a dummy to the middle point of the existing optical cable. CONSTITUTION: A branch connection box for an optical cable comprises front and rear covers(200,100), cable fixing supports(130), a branching unit sleeve storing board(110), dummy optical cable core wires, and a dummy cable sleeve extended plate(120). The front and rear covers are rotated relative to each other. The cable fixing supports are installed on both ends of the rear cover and fix an existing optical cable. The branching unit sleeve storing board is installed inside the rear cover and fixes core wires of a target unit of the existing optical cable. The dummy optical cable core wires cut the middle parts of the core wires and connect the cut sides of the core wires. The dummy cable sleeve extended plate is hinged on the bottom surface of the rear cover and fixes the dummy optical cable core wires.
