PURPOSE: A method for forming a lens housing of a camera is provided to maintain the starting point of female threads on a lens housing by maintain a uniform pattern of changing the gap between an upper plate and an upper mold. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming a lens housing of a camera comprises the steps of: supplying a proper amount of materials to a screw device and setting a back pressure of 45-55kg/cm, applying a holding pressure of 500-600kg/cm^2 for 0.2-0.3 seconds at 25 RPM(Revolution Per Minute), injecting resin in a stepwise manner at a speed of 1000-1400 RPM and a pressure of 80-110kg/cm^2, maintaining the temperatures of upper and lower molds(200,100) at 90-100°C and cooling the molds for 3-4 seconds, and separating the molds and ejecting a product from the molds. |
