PURPOSE: A stand-by power saving SPMS(Switching Mode Power Supply) is provided to reduce stand-by power by controlling the on and off of a main transformer by comparing one terminal instead of all terminals of a direct current output terminal. CONSTITUTION: A rectifier(100) rectifies an AC power supply by using a bridge diode(BD11) and a condenser(C11) for electric charge. A voltage rectified in the rectifier is respectively applied to a primary side coil of a main transformer(300) and an auxiliary transformer(400). A varistor(VZ1) and temperature fuse(F1) are installed at the leading end of the rectifier. A constant voltage maintaining unit(100') consisting of a zener diode(D11) and a diode(D12) is installed at the backend of the rectifier. A PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) controller(200) comprises a PWM device(IC11) and a first transistor(TR11).
