<p>PURPOSE: An electric booster is provided to improve spacing efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An electric booster(1) comprises an electric motor(14), a ball-screw apparatus(16), a push member(17), and a stroke simulator(18). The electric motor drives the piston(7) of a master cylinder(2). The ball-screw apparatus is driven through a belt gearing unit(15) by using the electric motor. The push member pushes the piston by being thrust by the ball-screw apparatus. The stroke simulator is a reaction force generating unit connected to an input rod(10) and generates reaction force for the operation of the input rod. The push member and the stroke simulator are overlapped with each other into longitudinal direction.</p> |
