PURPOSE: Guidance apparatus and method for lamp breakdown and safe driving is provided to display lamp malfunction signals and to set safe route by using light sensor installed near a lamp. CONSTITUTION: Guidance apparatus for lamp breakdown and safe driving comprise a lamp unit(110), a sensor unit(120), an AD conversion unit(130), an MICOM calculation unit(140), a cluster(160), and a navigation system(150). The sensor unit is adhere to the lamp unit, and senses the amount of light from the lamp unit. The AD conversion unit converts the analog signals to digital signals. The MICOM calculation unit analyzes signals transferred from the AD conversion unit, and determines whether the lamp is out of order by deciding that the amount of light is over predetermined standard value. The cluster receives malfunction signals from the MICOM calculation unit, displays the signals for a driver. The navigation system receives the malfunction signal from the MICOM calculation unit, and changes a route automatically or passively. |
