<p>PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing alkali calciumferrite flux for steel is provided to save the manufacturing cost of alkali calciumferrite flux for steel and effectively remove sulfur and phosphorus from ingot steel. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing alkali calciumferrite flux for steel comprises next steps. Limestone and iron oxide are mixed as 3:1 ~ 1:3 mole ratio of CaO and Fe2O3. The mixture is put into a cement firing furnace to be fired at a temperature of 1120 ~ 1280 °C. The mixture is manufactured as clinker in the cement firing furnace. One of alkali-metal oxide, the alkali-metal hydroxide, alkali-metal carbonate and sodium sulfate is contained by over 0.5weight% in the mixture.</p> |
