PURPOSE: A novel method for preparing (S)-4-[4-[(4-chlorophenyl)-(2-pyridyl)methoxy]piperidine-1-yl]butanoic acid is provided to simplify reaction process and to prepare a target compound with high purity and high yield. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing (S)-4-[4-[(4-chlorophenyl)-(2-pyridyl)methoxy]piperidine-1-yl]butanoic acid of chemical formula I comprises: a step of condensing (S)-(+)-4-[(4-chlorophenyl)-2-pyridyl]methanol of chemical formula II with 4-(4-substituted piperidyl)-butane derivative compound of chemical formula III to prepare a (S)-4-[4-[(4-chlorophenyl)-(2-pyridyl)methoxy]piperidino]butane derivative; and a step of hydrolyzing carboxyl protection group or nitrile group. |
