PURPOSE: A printer is provided to reduce a time for melting ink and to improve a device for heating and storing stored ink. CONSTITUTION: A printer(10) comprises an ink loader(12), a melting device, and a container. The ink loader houses solid ink. The melting device receives the solid ink from the ink loader and melts the solid ink and heats the solid ink at a temperature for manufacturing liquid. The container is flexibly connected to the melting device so that the melted solid ink is housed by receiving from the melting device. The container comprises a housing and induction heater element. The housing composed of thermal insulating materials has a volume of an inner space having a height, a width, and a depth. The induction heater is arranged inside of the volume of the space to melt ink inside the volume. The heater element has a surface area larger than a region zoned with the height, the width, and the depth of the volume of the inner space.
