PURPOSE: Back light correction apparatus and method for a camera enabling users to take videos in a back-light state is provided to output an object image having the proper brightness level when filming high brightness objects and low brightness objects at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A back light correction method for a camera comprises the following comprises the following steps: filming an object having high brightness by applying the short shutter speed in a first even film using a micro-computer(20); performing the digital gain down operation for the high brightness object image by controlling the operation of a digital gain controller using the micro-computer; and converting the high brightness object image to an object image having the proper brightness level. |
