<p>PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to include a short circuit plate, thereby preventing overcharging and improving electrical safety. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises a first electrode plate(111) and a second electrode plate(112) on which uncoated parts are respectively formed, an electrode assembly(110) which is formed by reeling a separator(113) located between the first and the second electrode plates, a case(140) which has a top opening and accepts the electrode assembly inside, an electrode terminal(170) which is connected to the electrode assembly and is projected to outside a case, a cap assembly(150) in which a cap plate(151) which seals the opening of the case is formed, and a short circuit plate(176) which connected to one side of the electrode terminal.</p> |
