PURPOSE: A connector for light source module and a backlight assembly including the same are provided to simplify connection of a backlight assembly by arranging a light source module unit and a light source driving unit. CONSTITUTION: A second substrate(120) is opposite to a first substrate(110). A liquid crystal layer is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate. A gate driving unit(130) and a data driving unit(140) are connected to the first substrate. The gate driving unit and the data driving unit output driving signals to the first substrate. A light guide plate(300) guides light which is generated from a light source module unit.
