PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for processing a medium and a financial device are provided to prevent a jam when media are transferred by transferring the media when the media are aligned. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(20) for processing a medium comprises a first guider(210), a second guider(220), and a medium sensing unit(31). The first guider is arranged on the front of media at a medium positioned space. The second guider is arranged on the rear of the media at the medium positioned space. The medium sensing unit senses media that is over a specific height among the media at the medium positioned space. |
