PURPOSE: An automotive stop lamp switch mounting structure is provided to prevent the opposite direction rotation of a mounting boss due to external force by inserting a rotation preventing member at the outer side of the mounting boss. CONSTITUTION: A fixing bracket(20) forms a fixing hole. A mounting member(30) protrusively forms a supporting unit(32) inserted into the fixing hole to a base. A mounting hole is formed at the supporting part(32). A stop lamp switch(10) is inserted into the mounting hole. One or more holding grooves and screw threads are formed at the inner circumstance of the mounting hole. A separation preventing means(40) prevents the separation of the stop lamp switch. The separation preventing means comprises a guide unit(41) and a rotation preventing member(42). The guide unit is formed on the base. The rotation preventing member prevents the rotation of a mounting boss(11).
