PURPOSE: A transmission speed control method for a data broadcast service in a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network), AP(Access Point), and recording medium are provided to control transmission speed of packets according to a transmission speed control command included in the packet. CONSTITUTION: A packet interface unit(210) transmits and receives packets. A packet analysis unit(220) analyzes kinds of the packets. If the packet is broadcasting/multicasting packets, a transmission speed control unit(230) controls transmission speed according to a transmission speed control command included in the packets. The packet analysis unit analyzes kinds of the packet by using port numbers or an IP address of the packet.
