PURPOSE: A turret tool rest for transmitting power through a belt is provided to prevent deformation or noise caused by contact of gears and ensure easy replacement of the belt. CONSTITUTION: A turret tool rest for transmitting power through a belt comprises a main motor(10), a motor pulley(12), a shaft pulley(15), a shaft(14), and a lock nut(16). The power of the main motor is delivered to the motor pulley coupled with a motor shaft(11). The shaft pulley is separated from the motor pulley and provided with the power through a timing belt(13). The shaft, which is coupled to the shaft pulley, delivers power to a tool driving shaft of a tool holder. The lock nut is formed on one end of the shaft. The shaft pulley is coupled between the lock nut and a dog(19) so that the timing belt can be easily changed without separating a cover, the lock nut, and the shaft pulley. |
