PURPOSE: A hinge for opening a solar cell panel and a method for opening the solar cell panel using the hinge are provided to increase safety by opening the solar cell panel at a constant speed with protecting the panel from impact. CONSTITUTION: A hinge(100) for opening a solar cell panel comprises a first hinge fitting(110), a second hinge fitting(120), a steel tape(130), and a spring(140). The first hinge fitting is coupled to a first solar cell panel. The second hinge fitting is coupled to a second solar cell panel. One end of the steel tape is connected to the first hinge fitting. The other end of the steel tape is connected to the second hinge fitting. The spring varies a gap between the first hinge fitting and the second hinge fitting. |
