PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to control output of a gate driving circuit in a horizontal interlace mode if an input image is a still image, thereby reducing driving frequencies of pixels. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display panel(100) comprises data lines, gate lines, and pixels. An image analyzing unit(110) analyzes an input image. The image analyzing unit determines whether the input image is a still image. A data driving circuit(102) converts digital video data of the input image into a data voltage. A data driving circuit(104) successively supplies gate pulses to the gate lines. |
