The workwear i.e. work trousers (P), have impact damping units (M) for dampening impacts at the level of a surface covering a joint i.e. knee. Each damping unit is formed by a body forming a damping block (100) that is cut from a material roll i.e. polyester roll. The damping block adopts a structure comprising two knitting panels whose opposite faces are connected by thousands of polyester threads. The damping block braided and fixed with the garment is covered with a protective fabric layer.
