PURPOSE: A method and a device for controlling ISG logic are provided to guarantee the smooth starting of ISG vehicles by controlling a transmission in neutral. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling ISG logic is as follows. Whether or not a brake pedal is turned on is determined while a gear level is in a driving state(S210). If the brake pedal is turned on, the inclination angle of a road is measured and a slope is determined(S220). If the road is a slope, a gear level is in neutral regardless of the driving state(S230). Whether the brake pedal is turned on or not is determined while the gear level is in the driving state(S240). If the brake pedal is turned off, the gear level is converted into the driving state from neutral(S250).
