The part has a head-rest whose head-rest guides (21a, 21 b) receive head-rest rods (15a, 15b) to allow integration on a backrest (5). U-shaped energy absorption parts (24a, 24b) are arranged at a level of the guides to allow displacement of the guides toward front of the part of the backrest in case of impact characterized when the absorption parts are arranged to allow blocking of the guides that are displaced toward rear of the part of the backrest. The absorption parts are arranged to partially enclose the guide.
