PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an inductor and the inductor manufactured by the same are provided to improve the performance of an electronic product by minimizing a leakage current through the surface of the inductor even though the inductor is used at high temperatures for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A first insulation layer is formed on magnetic powder(S1). A second insulation layer is formed on the first insulation layer(S2). A lateral part of an electrode terminal in contact with the lateral part of an inductor is dielectrically coated(S3). A coil is conductively fixed to the electrode terminal(S4). An electrode terminal and magnetic powder are inserted into a press mold(S5). An inductor is thermally processed(S6).
