PURPOSE: A bidirectional tidal power generator is provided to generate more energy by increasing the speed of water to raise the rotation speed of blades. CONSTITUTION: A bidirectional tidal power generator is configured as follows. Water collecting guide plates(14) are connected with hinges(21) on vertical collecting plates(11) and supported with stoppers(24) to convert the flow direction of water by 35~45°, thereby accelerating the rotation of blades. Reinforcing materials(12) are attached to the vertical collecting plates to remove resistances interrupting the rotation of the blades. When water collecting guide plates on the opposite side are stopped by torsion springs and small stoppers and the water flow changes, the water collecting guide plates are naturally changed according to the water flow. Horizontal reinforcing materials are installed on the top and bottom of the vertical collecting plates. A shaft is supported with a bearing in the center of the vertical collecting plates to prevent the blades from being pushed. Vertical transfer wheels are placed in C-shaped grooves of fixtures located on both sides of the main body and moved up/down with wires connected to the main body that is maintained at the fixed height by a floating member moving according to water level. |
