The present invention is related to a massive, quick and efficient method for quantifying bacteria in a laboratory from different samples; from the environment or human fluids. This method does not require expensive technology or sophisticated devices, thus being considered as an affordable and easily used process. The quantification is based on performing dilutions (base 10) of the liquid samples in a multiwell plate with a multichannel pipette, which may process several samples at the same time, contained in the same multiwell plate. Once the dilutions are performed, the representative sample thereof is taken with a replicator and inoculated in a solid growth medium, in which the UFC/mL may be quantified after an incubation period. The methodology has been called Massive Plate Drip (MPD).
