PURPOSE: A glow discharge apparatus able to transfer a liquid sample according to a gas flow control is provided to exclude the usage of an expensive metering pump and accurately analyze by essentially removing the surging caused by using a pump. CONSTITUTION: A glow discharge apparatus able to transfer a liquid sample according to a gas flow control(100) comprises a high voltage generator(104), a reactor(101), a beam splitter(103), and a microprocessor unit (MCU, 107). The high voltage generator induces a glow discharge. An electrolyte sample is inserted into the reactor so that the discharge occurs. The beam splitter comprises a detection device. The microprocessor unit controls each unit and comprises a sealed sample container(102) to insert the electrolyte sample into the reactor through a capillary tube. |
