PURPOSE: A guide bush device using air for an automatic lathe is provided to prevent the shaking of a material by changing the relative position between a guide bush and a sleeve to control the supporting pressure on the material. CONSTITUTION: A guide bush device using air for an automatic lathe comprises a guide bush(11) which supports a work piece, an adjuster(13) which is coupled with the guide bush, a cylinder rod(14) which delivers power for back and forth motion of the adjuster and is moved by air, a bearing(16) which is formed between the cylinder rod and the adjuster, and a lock nut(17) which fixes the bearing. The cylinder rod is moved back and forth by air to transfer the guide bush along a tapered portion(12a) of a sleeve(12), thereby regulating the inner diameter of the guide bush. |
