PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the deterioration of a lifetime and reliability by reducing heat from a device. CONSTITUTION: A photoelectric layer(120) including a first semiconductor layer(122), an active layer(123), and a second semiconductor layer(124) is formed on a substrate(110). An ohmic contact layer(130) is formed on the second semiconductor layer and is made of transparent conductive materials. A first electrode pad(140) is formed on a part of the first semiconductor layer. A second electrode pad(150) in contact with the second semiconductor layer is formed on the ohmic contact layer. At least one dummy pattern(162) is formed between the first electrode pad and the electrode pad. |
