<p>The tool (29) for tyre demounting and mounting machines (1) comprises an element for connection to a movable bearing member (28) of said tyre demounting and mounting machine (1), which has a longitudinal axis (A); a round contact element (36) which is freely rotatably supported by said connection member (32) about a rotation axis (35) and which has an external outline in contact with a contact portion (4, 9) of a side of a tyre (5) mounted to a rim (7); said round element (36) having: a flared contacting and lifting surface suitable to contact and lift said tyre (5) from said rim (7), which has a base (40) facing toward said rim (7) and defining a first opposed vertex (38), touching means (41) extending from said base (40) toward said rim (7) for touching a portion (6) of said rim (7).</p> |
