PURPOSE: Percussion instrument having a sound control function and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily and rapidly control whether a muting function is used or not and a sound-conditioning with a rotary lever mounted on outside of a drum. CONSTITUTION: A percussion instrument having a sound control function comprises a sordino and a rotary lever(13). The sordino actuated by the rotary lever is arranged inside a drum. The rotary lever is formed outside of the drum. The sordino is operated by the rotary lever. The sound intensity is adjusted by a rotation of the rotary lever.
