PURPOSE: A method for connecting a DVR(Digital Video Recorder) to a CMS(Central Management System) having different network bandwidths and a system thereof are provided to check a connection state through a connection request to a port by accurately detecting the port of a NAT to be used. CONSTITUTION: A system comprises a DVR(101), a CMS(102), and a rendezvous server(103). Private end point information and public end point information including a private IP(Internet Protocol) are registered in a rendezvous server. The DVR and the CMS receives end point information of an opposite device from a rendezvous server. The DVR and the CMS are connected to a corresponding device having different network bands. The rendezvous server respectively informs the port information of a NAT, which is used in a network connection state of the private IP and the opposite device, of the opposite device. |
