ENERGY SAVING REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A power-saving refrigerator is provided to reduce unnecessary power consumption and to increase a storage space by supplying cooling air to a cold storage chamber with opening a shield valve. CONSTITUTION: A power-saving refrigerator comprises a body(100), a door unit(200), and a power-saving storage(300). The body comprises a cold storage chamber, and a freezing storage chamber(120). The door unit is attached to a front of the body to be opened and closed. The power-saving storage offers an extra storage space with being divided into the cold storage chamber, and the freezing storage chamber by a partition. The power-saving storage is operated by a small evaporator and expansion valve, which branch from a branch point between a condenser and expansion valve of a cooling cycle.
