PURPOSE: A vehicle position calculating device using an intersection wireless beacon and a calculation method thereof are provided to accurately calculate a position of a vehicle on an intersection using a beacon signal and a compass. CONSTITUTION: A beacon signal receiver receives a beacon signal from a wireless beacon(B1). A calculation unit calculates a distance between a vehicle(V1) and the wireless beacon. The calculation unit creates a vector with a movement direction of the vehicle. The calculation unit calculates the vector created according to distance change. A display unit displays an intersection. |
