PURPOSE: A gate valve with optimized lift length of a valve stem is provided to prevent size or volume of a valve device from increasing according to increased lift distance of a valve stem, and to facilitate installation. CONSTITUTION: A gate valve with optimized lift length of a valve stem comprises a valve body(101), a bonnet(110), a housing(120), a sleeve(130), a bush(135), a stem(140), a disc(141), a cap(180), an indicator screw(182), and an indicator pin(184). The valve body has a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, a passage, and a disc mounting groove part. A hollow chamber is formed between the bonnet and the valve body. A through-hole is formed in the center of the housing. A hollow part penetrating in a vertical direction is formed inside the sleeve and a part of the sleeve is inserted in the through-hole of the housing to be coupled. The part of the sleeve is extended to the upper part of the housing to be exposed. A hollow part is formed inside the bush and a female screw is formed in the inner circumference of the hollow part. The hollow part is inserted into the hollow part of the sleeve. The disc is coupled to the lower end of the stem to open and close the passage. The indicator pin is coupled to the upper end of the indicator screw. The front end of both sides of the indicator pin passes through a guide hole of the cap and is exposed to the outside. |
