Viral genome construction of a recombinant Marek's disease virus, comprising fragments as their identification markers: (1) two fragments of 34 base pairs (bp) having SEQ ID NO: 5 resulting from deletion of the Meq gene of the two original sites containing Meq gene; and (2) a fragment of about 539 bp of the long terminal repetition of the reticuloendotheliosis virus (REV-LTR) having SEQ ID NO: 6 inserted to 370 bp in upstream of the junction site US/TRS in the viral genome, is new. Viral genome construction of a recombinant Marek's disease virus, comprising fragments as their identification markers: (1) two fragments of 34 bp having SEQ ID NO: 5 (comprising a fully defined 34 base pair sequence as given in the specification) resulting from deletion of the Meq gene of the two original sites containing Meq gene; and (2) a fragment of about 539 bp of the long terminal repetition of the reticuloendotheliosis virus (REV-LTR) having SEQ ID NO: 6 (a fully defined 539 base pair sequence as given in the specification) inserted to 370 bp in upstream of the junction site US/TRS in the viral genome, is new. Independent claims are included for: (1) SC9-1 or SC9-2 vaccine strain of the recombinant Marek's disease virus comprising the genome construction, where the SC9-1 strain of MDV is filed at the General center of collection of microbiological cultures of China on December 3, 2010, with deposit number CGMCC NO: 4399, and SC9-2 strain of MDV is filed at the General center of collection of microbiological cultures China on November 24, 2011 with the deposit number CGMCC NO: 5502; (2) a chicken embryo fibroblasts, which are infected by the strain SC9-1 or SC9-2 of recombinant MDV; (3) a vaccine against Marek's disease virus, comprising the genome construction of recombinant Marek's disease virus; (4) a process of preventing Marek's disease in chickens, the chickens receive effective prophylactic doses of vaccines against Marek's disease containing the genome construction of recombinant Marek's disease virus, the vaccine strain SC 9- 1 or SC9-2 of Marek's disease virus or chicken embryo fibroblasts; and (5) the preparation of the viral genome construction ACTIVITY : Virucide. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Vaccine.
|
