PURPOSE: A three-dimensional cartoon converting method, a system thereof, and recording medium for the same are provided to automatically convert a two-dimensional digital commix into a three-dimensional digital commix. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(10) is applied a digital still image, an alpha map image, and depth information. The alpha map image includes the depth information about a two-dimensional digital still image. A converting unit(20) generates a three-dimensional image according to depth information which a user sets up.
