SECONDARY BATTERY HAVING DIFFERENTIAL SEALING WIDTH

PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to form sealing width where electrode leads are located relatively big, thereby enhancing durability of a sealing unit and effectively preventing electrolyte solution leakage and moisture penetration. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) is manufactured by inserting electrode assembly(300) which electrode leads(600,700) are welded inside a pouch exterior(200) and thermosetting a peripheral unit of the pouch exterior. The secondary battery includes a sealing part(210) which heat-welds the peripheral unit of the pouch exterior. The sealing unit has a differential sealing part(250) which has wider overlapped sealing widths of the pouch exterior and the electrode leads than sealing width of rest areas. The electrode leads are located in center of the differential sealing part. The differential sealing part has wider sealing width than the sealing width of the electrode leads.
