<p>A small power-saving electronic device is disclosed. The small power-saving electronic device includes: a sensing unit for generating at least one piece of sensing information from the acceleration information, the angular speed information, and the information on the device itself; and a mode-switching unit for controlling the electronic device in standby mode so that the device enters operation mode upon the movement thereof. The small power-saving electronic device enters standby mode if there is no movement for a predetermined time set for saving power, and enters operation mode again by using acceleration information, slope information, and information on the device itself after sensing that there is predetermined movement of the electronic device. Thus, the electronic device is capable of saving power by using standby mode. Additionally, since an LED or a laser diode may not operate in the standby mode, power consumption is reduced.</p> |
